Tallahassee Mice Removal, Wildlife Control
It is very common to have mice in a building; and because they are hard to detect, mice can cause significant damage well before they come into contact with people.
Given their rapid reproductive rate and the fact that a female can begin bearing a litter at only eight weeks old, a small mouse population can quickly become a full fledged infestation.
Squirrels, rats, and mice are known to gnaw through wood, wiring, and insulation. Mice activity can lead to higher energy costs and structural damage. They also leave urine trails that may attract predators, like raccoons, snakes or other animals, such as rats, bats, squirrels, etc. Mouse feces and urine are known to contaminate insulation, drywall, and other surfaces. This leads to rot, mold, moisture damage and terrible odor.

Mice Trapping and Removal
Mice often inhabit attics, walls, kitchen pantries, crawl spaces, and storage areas. Mice like to find warm places to make nests, and because they burrow, mice can be extremely difficult to locate when in the walls or an attic.
A mouse will often use gable vents, eave vents, roof returns and holes made for plumbing or wiring to access nesting areas. Poisoning the mice is not an effective long-term solution. Mice will build up resistance to poisons and the poisons may cause unintentional death to non-target species. Additionally, if they die in your house or business, they will cause odor and damage.
Also, if entry areas are not identified or mouse-proofed, then others will gain entry. Identifying these entry points is very tricky as they can fit through a crack the thickness of a pencil; or a hole the size of a dime.
Thorough inspections should reveal the most prominent areas of mouse activity. Place numerous traps in these areas; mice usually only travel about thirty feet from nests, so concentrate traps around these areas. Some of the best baits are seeds, fruit and nut butters.
